AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM INSPECTIONS
It is currently a statutory requirement under Regulation 22 of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive to have an Air-conditioning System inspection for all systems over 12Kw. Thereafter all systems need to be inspected every 5 years. However systems put into service after 1st January 2008 must be tested within 5 years of the installation date.
The inspections are designed to highlight improvements to existing systems and opportunities to replace older and over sized systems, all with the one objective of reducing energy consumption.

CRC
The Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme (CRC) is a mandatory carbon emissions cap and trade’ scheme that currently applies to around 5,000 large non energy-intensive organisations in the UK’s public and private sectors. CRC came into force in April 2010, with its objective being to encourage carbon savings primarily by driving the requirement to review consumption levels and implement energy efficiency measures. Workman continues to successfully support all CRC registered Clients and assisting them in ensuring that their energy data is recorded, monitored and submitted in line with CRC requirements and timelines. Workman also look at the larger CRC picture by targeting high consuming supplies and assisting with strategy to drive down costs wherever possible.
